I have wanted to develop a blog site for some time now. I think I was intimidated by the technology and the time it might take to write with some regularity. But with the help of some friends who are much more technologically savvy than I am, I have decided to launch this site. I have decided to begin with a "weekly blog." The subject matter may vary, but the over-arching theme will be things that I hope are motivational and practical in helping us to go deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ and one another, as the Body of Christ. In keeping with that theme, I have called this blog site God Encounters.  At times I will share my own encounters with God, and at other times I will share the encounters of others. Hopefully, those who read the blog will be moved to share their own encounters with the Lord. I ask for your prayers, as I begin this new chapter in my own spiritual journey.
